A Name Change? FINISH HIM...with Simplicity!

Hmph. Toyota a company that once impressed me with their innovations in technology has revealed a 'redesigned' version of their electric chariot. They dare to call it the 'bZ,' shedding the cumbersome 'bZ4X' like old skin. A wise decision perhaps as the old name was as forgettable as Shang Tsung's promises. But can a mere name change truly wash away past failures? Only time and perhaps a few well placed fireballs will tell.

Recall ed to Life: From Zero to Hero?

The original bZ4X... a pathetic showing! Recalled for wheels threatening to abandon ship mid journey? An embarrassment! But fear not for Toyota claims this new 'bZ' addresses those shortcomings. More power! Increased range! Faster charging! They seek to challenge Tesla and others. Good. Let them prove their worth... or face my WRATH!

Range Anxiety? Not on MY Watch!

314 miles on a single charge they say? An improvement from the paltry 252. And horsepower increased from 214 to a respectable 338 for the all wheel drive versions. Still Sub Zero's ice blasts travel farther and Liu Kang hits harder. But it's a start. Perhaps this 'bZ' can outrun a hellspawn... maybe.

Tesla's Charger: An Unholy Alliance?

What sorcery is this? The 'bZ' now embraces Tesla's charging ports? An alliance with a rival! A necessary evil it seems to offer drivers access to more charging stations. A 10% to 80% charge in a mere 30 minutes... impressive. But can it withstand the test of a true battle? I remain skeptical but 'Get Over Here' and show me.

Styling Upgrade: A New Mask for a New Era?

Updated styling both inside and out. So they try to mask the failures with new designs eh? Like Quan Chi's illusions it may fool the masses but I see through their façade. But if it helps it stand out in the overcrowded arena of electric vehicles then fine. All the better for the competition to tremble before my fiery vengeance.

EV Sales: A Slow Burn

Sales increase but slowly. American drivers remain wary of these electric contraptions. Toyota has sold roughly 35,000 units since 2022. Acceptable but the Earthrealm demands more! Will the 'bZ' be the champion to ignite the EV revolution? Or will it fade into obscurity? Only the Elder Gods know for sure. But I will be watching... ALWAYS!
