The All New Cherokee: A Shieldmaiden in Disguise?
Hail fellow adventurers! Ragnar Lothbrok here and I've just heard whispers from across the great ocean about this…'Jeep Cherokee.' They say it's new improved and even…'hybrid.' Is this some kind of sorcery? Or just a clever trick to lure us into a false sense of security? Seems this 'Jeep' has been stumbling lately like a drunken berserker after a night of mead. They hope this new chariot will right the ship or longboat as I like to call it.
Hybrid Power: Thor's Hammer or Loki's Prank?
This 'hybrid' business… they don't say if it's a true hybrid or some kind of 'plug in' contraption. If it drinks too much of this 'electricity' it's not worth raiding a village for. But if it has the strength of Thor's hammer and the cunning of Loki then perhaps it's something to consider. This 'Bob Broderdorf' chap says it's full of 'innovation'. I once innovated a way to sail west when everyone said it was impossible. Let's see if his innovation can match mine!
Affordable? Or Fit for a Jarl?
Ah the price! Always the trickster. They say this new 'Cherokee' will be 'competitively priced'. But I know these games. They lure you in with promises then bleed you dry like a thrall in the silver mines. This Cherokee better not cost more than a decent longship or I'll be paying a visit to their village. They say the affordability has been a problem well I say problems are meant to be solved! Preferably with a good axe and a well placed raid.
Made in Mexico: A Viking's Perspective
Now here's a twist. They say this 'Cherokee' is being forged in 'Mexico.' Hmph! Doesn't sound very Norse to me. What happened to Illinois? I hear that Illinois has been idled since this 'Cherokee' was discontinued early 2023. So now this chariot will be forged far away. I hope they are not skimping on the quality or the only raid it will be going on is to the scrap yard.
Stellantis' Last Stand: Will it Sink or Sail?
This 'Jeep' has been failing for six years! Six years! That's like six winters in Kattegat without firewood. If this Antonio Filosa cannot turn things around then perhaps he should be rowing a galley ship instead of leading one. As I always say 'I don't believe in Gods I believe in myself'. Hopefully he believes in himself too.
The Verdict: Raid or Remain?
So what's the verdict? Is this new 'Jeep Cherokee' worthy of a Viking's attention? Only time will tell. But remember my words: 'Life is a choice. You can choose fear or you can choose freedom.' Choose wisely my friends. And keep your axe sharp.
