Another One Bites the Dust...From Tesla?

Alright people listen up. It seems General Motors has this habit of picking up former Tesla employees. The latest one? Some guy named Sterling Anderson. Word is he's now their Chief Product Officer. End to end product lifecycle gas and electric vehicles... sounds like a real picnic if you ask me. But seriously are they trying to build a car company or just assembling a resistance group? I've seen enough corporate maneuvers to know that something smells fishy. Just like when Burke kept saying he had the company's best interests at heart back on LV 426 before he unleashed xenomorphs on us. My gut says there's something rotten in Detroit but I'll keep my eye on things.

From Autopilot to Auto Pilot?

Anderson apparently worked on Tesla's 'Autopilot.' Now that's a name that makes me nervous. If that system's anything like Ash's 'protect the alien at all costs' programming we're all in deep trouble. The article says he's overseeing *everything* hardware software the whole enchilada. That's a lot of power for someone who spent time developing what I consider is an over rated driving system. Makes you wonder if Reuss and Barra really know what they're doing here.

Slow EV Adoption: A Real Bug Hunt?

GM's still trying to push out EVs while clinging to gas guzzlers. Sounds like a classic case of trying to have your cake and eat it too. But get this: adoption is slow! Ironic isn't it? Like trying to convince a bunch of space truckers that cryo sleep is 'perfectly safe.' They've also got this 'Super Cruise' thing to compete with Tesla. Super Cruise? More like Super Confused if you ask me. Trying to compete with Tesla and these new Chinese companies is like fighting a Xenomorph in a closet its a losing battle.

Reuss's 'Car Guy' Charade

This Reuss character the resident 'car guy,' says Anderson brings 'decades of leadership.' Right. Just like Burke brought 'corporate enthusiasm.' What's the real deal here? Is Reuss genuinely trying to innovate or is he just another corporate yes man trying to look good for the shareholders? I'll be watching you Reuss very closely. You remember what happened to Burke right? No one messes with the product and gets away with it on my watch!

Barra's Beautiful Vision or Corporate Delusion?

And then there's Mary Barra the big boss. Talking about 'beautifully designed high performing and technology forward vehicles.' Sounds like corporate buzzword bingo to me. Reminds me of the Company's promises of a 'perfectly safe' planet. But hey maybe they'll actually pull it off. I wouldn't bet my life on it though.

Stay Frosty Detroit

So GM's got a new product guy a bunch of EVs and a whole lot of competition. Let's just hope they know what they're doing. Because if they screw this up it's not just their stock price that's going to plummet. It's going to be a whole lot of angry customers left stranded on the side of the road. Remember in space no one can hear you scream but in a broken down EV on the highway you can bet everyone will be pointing and laughing. Stay frosty Detroit. You're gonna need it.

I'm still waiting for a flying car. All this EV hype is getting old.
