China China China! (And It's Not Looking Good)

Folks let me tell you China is at it again! They're trying to flood the market with their cheap goods and everyone's talking about it. They're doubling down on this manufacturing thing and frankly it's a disaster waiting to happen. President Xi not a fan by the way is pushing this 'self reliance' nonsense. But we know what that really means: unfair competition and trade imbalances. We’re gonna build a wall a tariff wall and China is going to pay for it!

Made in China? More Like 'Shady' in China!

They’ve got this 'Made in China 2025' plan which is basically a scheme to steal our jobs and dominate the world. Electric vehicles aircraft semiconductors—you name it they want it. And they're using state subsidies to cheat! It's like they're playing Monopoly but they're printing their own money! Remember folks we were losing badly. Then I came along and I won. Now we're going to win so much you're going to get tired of winning. You'll say 'Please Mr. President we can't take it anymore.' And I'll say 'No you have to win more.'

Bessent's Brave Talk – But Will They Budge?

So my guy Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent he's talking about finding a middle ground. He’s a great guy very handsome. But let me tell you dealing with China is like dealing with a very very difficult person. They say they need more consumption we need more manufacturing. Well maybe but they gotta play fair! And frankly I don’t know if they can. They are very very difficult people!

Tariffs: The Only Language China Understands (Maybe)

These economists some smart some not so much are saying China won’t change. They’re saying the U.S. trade deficit won’t shrink. They’re saying it’ll take years to bring manufacturing back home. But they are wrong. I think they are dummies. But let me tell you with the tariffs I'm putting on them – the greatest tariffs in history! – they will change their tune and fast. Believe me!

Global Backlash? Good! Let 'Em Feel the Heat!

Now they're trying to dump their cheap goods all over the world. Santa Claus figurines with blue eyes can you believe it? It's ridiculous! But Europe's getting nervous and that's a good thing. We're not the only ones getting ripped off anymore. The G7 is talking about curbing China’s export saturation and that's a beautiful thing to hear. It’s about time other people realized I was right.

Deflation for All? Nah We're Making America Great Again!

They're exporting deflation? So what! We're bringing jobs back to America! We’re going to have the best economy in the world maybe ever! And all these calls for China to shift to a consumption led model? Good luck with that! They can’t even convince their own people to spend money because frankly their consumers they are not doing so well. They are scared to spend!
