What in the World is Going On?

Aw gee whiz! This week has been a real doozy! Your truly Donald Duck has been chasing Nvidia's big cheese Jensen Huang all over Europe! He's been flapping his yap about how Nvidia is gonna help Europe build its own AI stuff. 'Oh boy oh boy oh boy!'...as Huey Dewey and Louie usually shout when things get exciting this time it was me yelling at the top of my lungs!

Huang: Rock Star or Featherbrain?

This Huang fella is like a… like a… famous opera singer! All the techies were lined up to hear him talk! Long lines packed halls the whole shebang! They were even selling T shirts! T shirts! Reminds me of the time I tried to sell my 'Donald Duck for President' merchandise… nobody bought it! Maybe I should stick to being a reporter but not with the lousy pay!

Europe's AI Hope or Just Selling Snake Oil?

Huang says Nvidia's more than just a chip company. He says they're an 'infrastructure firm'! Like electricity he squawks! He's trying to sell everyone on the idea that Nvidia can help them build their own AI… their 'sovereign AI,' he calls it. Sounds kinda like when I tried to build my own house... ended up in a heap of rubble. I am sure Europe can do better! But Can they? That's the question eh!

China's Got Him in a Flap!

This is where things get a little… complicated. Because of some squabble with the US Nvidia can't sell its fanciest chips to China. Huang says Huawei is a generation behind but they can just use more chips to catch up! He's worried that if American companies can't sell to China they might fall behind! What's the world coming to!

Future is Now! Robotics and Driverless Cars Oh Boy!

Huang's been yapping about the future too. He says it's the 'decade of' robots and driverless cars! And quantum computing is about to take off! I hope those robots don't start taking our jobs! I need to earn enough to feed Huey Dewey and Louie and pay for the damage they do to my house!
