Hylians er I mean readers! Princess Zelda here reporting live (well as live as parchment and quill allow) from… well not Hyrule this time. It seems even *I* can't ignore the rumblings coming from a place called Starbase Texas. Apparently some folks there just got a notice that their very homes might be… *poof*… gone! Talk about a bad omen worthy of a blood moon! It appears this Elon Musk fellow's SpaceX is flexing some serious muscle.

SpaceX's Iron Grip: Is This the Triforce of Power?

So this 'Starbase' is basically a company town. Remember when Ganon tried to turn Hyrule into his own personal playground? Well this feels a bit like that only with rockets instead of monsters. They're talking about a 'Mixed Use District' – sounds fancy right? But what it really means is that SpaceX wants to mix things up and some residents might get... mixed right out! Kent Myers the City Administrator delivered the news. It is eerily similar to how Ganondorf's minions would come to someone's home to deliver a message from the dark lord.

The 'Catastrophic Loss' Heard 'Round Hyrule… er Texas

And get this: Just before all this zoning kerfuffle SpaceX's giant Starship rocket went kablooey! They're calling it a 'catastrophic loss.' Sounds about right! At least the FAA said that there were "no reports of public injury or damage to public property" Well no Hylians were harmed but these Texan villagers might disagree soon enough!. Now Musk is all about data and lessons learned from the explosions. I suppose every villain needs to learn from their mistakes... to better conquer the world. It's the 'Ganon School of Hard Knocks,' perhaps?

20 Billion Rupees… I Mean Government Contracts!

Now get this part... This SpaceX has raked in over $20 BILLION in government contracts since 2008! That's enough to buy a *lot* of elixirs. And by 'elixirs' I mean… well you get the idea. Using government money to secure zoning that benefits a private company? I can feel the dark magic in the air!

Close The Beaches: A Roadblock To Freedom?

Apparently they're also trying to close a main road and beaches for launch activity *during the week* without asking anyone's permission. Sounds like someone's trying to pull a fast one like a Bokoblin stealing your pot lids! It makes one wonder if they will have to fight giant bosses in order to keep their house... I just hope Link is not too busy to save the world AND this little town of Starbase.

The Future of Starbase: A Choice Between Progress and Tyranny?

So what does this all mean? Well Starbase might become a shining beacon of technological advancement… or a cautionary tale of unchecked corporate power. The residents have a public hearing on June 23rd to voice their concerns. I suggest they bring a Master Sword – metaphorically speaking of course.
