Dark Times These Are
Hmm troubling news this is. Harvard a place of learning now embroiled in a battle with the Trump administration. Banned their international students are accused of harboring 'anti American agitators.' Fear leads to anger anger leads to hate hate leads to… lawsuits! Yes a lawsuit Harvard has filed. A dark path this administration walks. 'Do or do not. There is no try,' Harvard seems to say facing the darkness.
A University Divided?
More than 7,000 students their fates hang in the balance. A quarter of Harvard's student body gone with the stroke of a pen the lawsuit claims. Significant contributions these students make to the university and its mission. Like losing a lightsaber losing them is in the middle of a duel. Critical research they conduct that now is at stake.
First Amendment: The Force is Strong
The First Amendment a powerful ally Harvard invokes. A blatant violation they claim of free speech. Retaliation they sense for rejecting government control. 'You must feel the Force around you; here between you me the tree the rock everywhere yes,' Harvard tells the administration. A strong argument this is.
Common Sense Lacking It Seems
Privilege not a right the administration argues. Higher tuition they crave to pad their endowments. But common sense where is it? 'Named must your fear be before banish it you can,' said I but the administration seems to have forgotten this lesson. A privilege education should not be.
Anti Semitism: A False Accusation?
Unsafe environment the administration claims permitting 'anti American pro terrorist agitators.' Harassment and physical assault they allege. But Harvard denies these accusations claiming they responded to all requests for information. Insufficient the administration deemed the responses without explanation. 'Always two there are no more no less. A master and an apprentice,' perhaps there is more to this story than meets the eye.
Hope Remains
In the words of President Garber 'We will support you.' A vital part of the community these students are. Harvard remains open to the world they vow. 'Luminous beings are we not this crude matter,' and these students luminous beings they are bringing light and knowledge to the world. Fear not young Padawans for hope remains!

May the Force be with Harvard in this fight!

The government should focus on real threats, not on silencing dissenting voices.

The administration's actions are based on fear and prejudice.

We must fight to protect the rights of all students, regardless of their origin.
