Another One Bites the Dust (Again!)

Right then darlings! Seems Elon's little plaything X – or as I stubbornly still call it Twitter – had a bit of a lie down this Saturday. Reports are flooding in faster than I can raid a tomb that thousands of users were left staring at digital tumbleweeds. Twenty five thousand to be precise according to those clever folks at Downdetector. Honestly all this tech jargon makes my head spin more than a poorly rigged grappling hook.

8:30 AM: A Time for Tea... and Existential Dread

Just after half past eight Eastern Time the digital apocalypse struck. Or at least that's how it felt for the 21,000 odd souls suddenly deprived of their daily dose of tweets. One moment they were probably arguing about politics or cats the next... nothing. Reminds me of that time I was trapped in that Peruvian temple only with less booby traps and more existential dread. Still I wonder if anyone found a hidden artifact during the downtime… probably not but one can hope!

The Digital Lights Flickered Back On

By around 9:55 AM ET things were slowly creaking back to life like an ancient door being forced open after centuries. Only around 2,000 poor souls were still left in the dark. Makes you wonder what they did with all that free time. Probably something useful like learning to decipher hieroglyphs or brewing a decent cup of tea. What? A girl's gotta have her priorities!

Musk's Mute Button: No Comment

Now you'd think the chap in charge Mr. Musk himself would be all over this like a rash. But alas X didn't immediately respond to inquiries. Perhaps he's busy launching another rocket into space or wrestling alligators… It’s really anyone’s guess at this point. Though I bet he is somewhere stroking his chin while whispering that "the truth is out there."

Cyberattacks and Conspiracy Theories: My Specialty!

Remember that little hiccup back in March? The one Musk blamed on a "massive cyberattack?" Claims he was attacked 'with a lot of resources'. 'We get attacked everyday' he states. Sounds more like a Bond villain plot than a simple server glitch doesn't it? Of course I wouldn't know anything about those... *nervously adjusts holsters*. All the more reason to investigate! This could be bigger than finding the Ark of the Covenant or at least equally as lucrative if I find the culprit and sell the story.
