Okay so like I heard the Cannes Film Festival almost went totally dark! Can you even imagine? Like no red carpet sparkle? No blinding flashes from the paparazzi? That's worse than running out of lip kits you guys! Apparently some sneaky peeps might have set fire to an electrical substation. I mean talk about a drama worthy of a movie!

160,000 Households Without Power? That's Not the Vibe

I can't even fathom 160,000 households suddenly having no electricity! Imagine not being able to binge watch your favorite shows or God forbid not being able to charge your phone. It's giving me 'rise and shine' but like in a very very bad way. Poor France... At least they managed to turn the lights back on.

Traffic Jams? Honey I'm Too Rich For This

Traffic jams are the actual worst. Like I would simply *not* be stuck in traffic. But for real traffic lights out in Cannes? That’s chaos. It's like 'This is gonna be a long night' but during the daytime! Glad I wasn't trying to get my glam team to the festival because you know priorities.

Cash Only? That's So Last Season

Cash only? In this economy? Groundbreaking. I haven’t carried cash since… well ever. The fact that people had to scramble for paper money to buy snacks is just... vintage. Hopefully they still had some French fries cause you gotta have your fries.

The Show Must Go On (With Backup Generators Duh!)

The best part is that the Palais des Festivals had a backup generator! Smart thinking! Like you always gotta have a plan B whether it's a power outage or a bad hair day. The Palme d'Or ceremony went on as planned. So glad the show went on otherwise it would be a sad sad day for humanity.

Arson? Maybe They Were Just Jealous of My Lip Kits

Okay but real talk who sets fire to an electrical substation? Was it someone jealous of all the fabulous outfits? Or maybe they didn't get a goodie bag? Or maybe they are just obsessed with Kylie Cosmetics? Whatever the reason I hope they catch the culprits. Seriously don’t mess with the Cannes Film Festival or you’ll have me to deal with. And nobody wants that.
