Wait What's Medicaid Again?

Okay dolls so like I was reading this article and it's all about how President Trump signed this HUGE tax cut thing and apparently it's gonna mess with Medicaid. Now I'm not like a doctor or anything (duh!) but from what I gather Medicaid is this program that helps people get healthcare. And apparently this new bill is gonna cut like a trillion dollars from it! Trillion you guys! Is that even a real number? Anyway it sounds like it could be a problem for people who need meds and stuff. And I guess for the companies that make the meds too. This is my surprised face. I need to reapply my lip kit.

Drug Companies: Are They Really Gonna Suffer?

So apparently Medicaid is like a smaller part of these drug companies' overall income especially worldwide. It’s like they make way more money from other stuff like you know rich people buying Botox or something. But still it *does* affect them. Apparently some companies like Vertex and Gilead rely on Medicaid more than others. Like a pretty big chunk of their U.S. sales come from it. So maybe they'll have to like start charging more for stuff? I hope not! I need my stuff! And can afford it.

Biktarvy? Sounds like a new Lip Kit Shade!

The article mentioned this drug called Biktarvy. LOL. Sounds like a shade name for a lip kit right? 'Biktarvy' – perfect for a night out in Calabasas! But it's apparently for HIV treatment and Medicaid covers a lot of it. So if they cut Medicaid fewer people might be able to get it. Like that's kinda serious guys. I wonder if they’ll name a lip kit shade after that?

2027? That's Like Forever Away!

Okay so the good news is the article said the cuts aren’t gonna happen until like 2027. That's like a whole lifetime away in Kardashian years! Maybe by then I'll be running for president! Kylie for President 2027! I mean why not? I'm already like a mogul and all. But seriously that gives everyone time to figure things out right? This is my concerned businesswoman face.

AI is the New Black or Should I Say the New Nude Lip?

Okay so this part isn’t really about the Medicaid thing but it’s about AI. And I'm all about the future. Apparently AI startups are getting ALL the money in digital health! Like billions! They're saying it's a new phase of traction and impact. So like maybe I should invest in an AI company? Kylie Cosmetics AI powered makeup applicator... hmmm the possibilities are endless!

Exits Deals and OMG Public Markets!

And OMG! Hinge Health and Omada Health went public! That’s like a HUGE deal for the people who invested in them. Good for them. Everyone loves a good deal. So basically the report said that the health industry is on fire with digital takeovers and mergers. I will stick to making lip kits but I am watching this. Period.
