Like, Tariffs? Trump's New Trade Drama is Sending My Lip Kit Budget into Chaos!

OMG Tariffs Are Back?!

Okay dolls so like you won't BELIEVE what's happening. Apparently President Trump is bringing back these things called 'tariffs' on a bunch of countries. I'm talking Japan South Korea Malaysia...even places I've never even heard of like Kazakhstan and Myanmar! Like are those even real places? JK! But seriously it's getting real. He's sending letters and everything. Letters! Who even does that anymore?

25%?! That's Like a Whole Lip Kit!

So these tariffs are basically taxes on stuff those countries sell to the U.S. And they're HUGE. Like 25% on some things! That's basically the cost of a whole new Lip Kit! And for some countries like Laos and Myanmar it will be even 40%! I mean come on! Is this 'cause I can’t stop buying new clothes and makeup from overseas?

Don't Come for Me!

And get this – Trump's saying if these countries try to raise their own taxes on American stuff he'll just add it on top of what he's already charging. It's like when people try to copy my makeup line and I'm like 'Honey you wish!' But in a like government way. He is like “If you decide to raise your Tariffs then whatever the number you choose to raise them by will be added onto the 25% that we charge.”

Wait What Does It All Mean?

Okay so like I'm not a business expert or anything (duh!) but apparently this is supposed to help the U.S. 'cause we buy more stuff from some countries than they buy from us. I don't know sounds complicated. I’m good at putting on makeup and selling products and being an influencer but this tariff issue is too much for me to handle! Can someone please explain this to me like I'm Stormi?

Stock Market Meltdown?!

OMG and apparently the stock market is freaking out! I heard the Dow Jones dropped a bunch of points. That's not good for anyone right? Especially not for my Kylie Cosmetics empire! Maybe I should start investing in like gold or something. Or maybe just more handbags. You can never have too many handbags right?

Feeling Some Type of Way

So yeah that's the tea on the tariffs. Honestly it's all a bit of a headache. Hopefully they can all figure it out so I can keep buying my favorite things without breaking the bank. Like 'realizing stuff' is hard but let's hope this doesn't mess with my glam routine. Fingers crossed!
