Okay so like I heard that China and the U.S. are like *finally* talking about trade. It's a whole thing with rare earth exports and tech restrictions. I don't know exactly what that means but it sounds important right? Like maybe I can finally get my hands on that limited edition phone case lol! But seriously they are trying to make things less awkward after like a major falling out.

Daddy Trump Said What?

So apparently Daddy Trump said they like signed something with China. A White House person clarified that they agreed to understand a framework to implement the Geneva agreement. I am like totally confused but if they agree on this then they agree on this. I have no thoughts on the matter. LOL

London Calling or Something?

Before this like big deal the U.S. Treasury Secretary and some Chinese Vice Premier had a fancy talk in London. Apparently things were like *super* tense between them before. I can relate TBH fighting with your siblings can be so annoying. But now everyone's trying to like chill out and be friends again. Good for them!

Rare Earths? Sounds Expensive!

Okay so like I heard about this guy named Alfredo or something. He said that like even though this trade stuff is a good thing we shouldn't get *too* excited. Apparently there's still like a lot of unclear things. It's like when you think you're getting a new Birkin but it turns out to be a dupe! So tragic!

National Security? I'm Shook!

Alfredo also mentioned something about rare earths being important for national security. Sounds serious right? Like I didn't even know rocks could be that important! Apparently China will still like keep a close eye on trading these things. They are like not playing around.

From Geneva With Like Maybe Love?

Before the London thing they had a meeting in Geneva. They were going to like stop some of the tariffs and stuff. But then like things got messy because China was taking forever with the rare earths and the U.S. was being strict with tech and student visas. Drama drama drama! But hopefully they'll like sort it all out now! Fingers crossed!
