Okay so like I was scrolling through my feed (as one does) and I saw Canada Goose stock went up almost 30%! Thirty people! That's like a whole new lip kit collection amount. Apparently they slayed their fourth quarter earnings. Even though they're being a little mysterious about their 2026 plans because of like 'dynamic consumer spending patterns,' whatever that means. It sounds very adult and boring.

Tariffs? I Don't Know Her.

Apparently there's some drama with tariffs and stuff but Canada Goose is mostly made in Canada so like they're basically chilling. Their COO Beth Clymer said most of their stuff avoids Trump's tariffs. The CEO Dani Reiss was all 'We've been through worse!' which is honestly a vibe. If they can survive 2008 and Covid they can survive anything right? Except maybe me trying to pronounce 'macroeconomic uncertainty.'

Numbers Numbers Everywhere

Okay numbers. They made like a lot more money than expected. Something about 33 Canadian cents instead of 23. Honestly all I see are dollar signs. Revenue was up too which is good because like I need new Birkins. They're saying tariffs aren't a big deal for 2026 but they're still being cautious. Smart I guess? I’m more about the now though. And they launched an eyewear collection with virtual try on! Genius. I mean who wants to go to a store when you can try on sunglasses from your couch? Not me honey.

The article said luxury brands are having a little moment of slowness right now. But Canada Goose seems to be pulling through so good for them! This launch is a 'key milestone' in their 'product category expansion journey'. Okay corporate speak but I support the journey. We love to see a brand evolve!
