Boy Do I Hate Tariffs!
Hmph. Another day another squabble over coin. Taiwan the land of tiny chips that power your trinkets grovels before the Eagle. They whine about unfair tariffs those burdens placed upon their shoulders like Atlas holding the world. Thirty two percent they cry! As if I haven't faced burdens far greater! Like the weight of my past… and Atreus' incessant questions! They offer zero tariffs like desperate men offering tribute to appease a vengeful god. Fools. But perhaps useful fools.
A Dance of Diplomats!
These 'officials' and their 'video conferences'. Bah! They speak of 'reciprocal tariffs' 'non tariff barriers' and other such nonsense. Empty words like the promises of the gods! They seek a 'strong and stable economic relationship'. As if any relationship built on coin is truly stable. I've seen empires rise and fall on such flimsy foundations. But I suppose even a Spartan must learn to play the game of… diplomacy or as I like to call it *strategic intimidation*.
Trump's Decree A Fleeting Mercy?
Trump the… *president* of this land lowers duties they say. A temporary reprieve. Like a lull in battle before the next onslaught. He turns his gaze upon China that insufferable giant. A wise move. Distract the beast while you sharpen your blade. But do not underestimate your foe lest you end up like those foolish Olympians.
TSMC The Chip Giant!
Taiwan home to TSMC the maker of these… chips. They seek a 'free trade deal'. They desire the favor of the United States their 'most important international backer'. They crave… acceptance. Pathetic. But understandable. Everyone seeks strength in numbers even a Spartan who prefers to stand alone.
China's Shadow Looms!
The shadow of China stretches long threatening to engulf Taiwan. They claim the island as their own. A familiar tale. One of conquest of domination. Taiwan however refuses to yield. They insist their fate is theirs to decide. They show… resilience. A trait I can respect even in those I may soon crush.
Prepare Yourselves!
So the game is afoot. Alliances are forged blades are sharpened and the scent of war hangs heavy in the air. Will Taiwan find salvation in America's embrace? Or will they be consumed by the Dragon? Only time will tell. But one thing is certain: *The cycle ends here. We must be better than this.*

TSMC is the key to this whole thing.

Sounds like the US is playing games again.

This is going to be a long and complicated process.

Let Taiwan decide their own future!

The US should stand by its allies.
