Alright Spartans Chief here. Command wanted me to decode this 'Treasury Yield' situation. Apparently it's not about harvesting energy from Forerunner constructs which is disappointing. These 10 year U.S. Treasury things? They were just hanging out unchanged. Like waiting for a Pelican to arrive on Installation 04. But hey at least the 2 year ones went up a bit. So turns out Earth's still dealing with trade wars. Two big nations are kinda grumpy with each other. One of them China is telling everyone to not make deals with the other one because apparently it'll mess things up for them. Sounds like the Covenant trying to stop us from activating the Halo rings... except hopefully less genocidal. Though judging by some of these economic policies you never know.

Good news grunts! Some 'Treasury Secretary' named Scott Bessent (never heard of him probably a desk jockey) told investors things might get better! He thinks this trade war might 'de escalate'. Bessent also mentioned that if they could get an agreement in a few years that would be considered a 'huge win'. Reminds me of Johnson's 'I know what the ladies like' speech. Hopefully this 'win' won't be as disappointing as that.
Trump vs. Powell: Sounds Like a Grunt Fight!
So there's also this 'President' dude pushing some other guy called Jerome Powell to lower 'rates'. Sounds like a couple of Grunts arguing over who gets to push the button. Honestly Earth politics are weirder than a Flood infection. The Treasury bonds got the 'selloff' so it's like an investor civil war?

Apparently these 10 year Treasury things went way down then way up. Sounds like a rollercoaster ride through High Charity. Investors are keeping a close eye probably waiting for the next crash. Just like when Cortana gets a little too chatty. Remember Reach.
