The Eagles Are Not Coming to the Rescue
Indeed the Nasdaq has suffered blows unseen since the dark days of the Covid plague. Ten percent! It is a grievous wound! One might say 'Fly you fools!' But even the Eagles swift as they are cannot outpace a market in freefall. The CEOs who once flocked to Washington like moths to a flame now find themselves singed by its heat.

A dark day for those who put their faith in the 'long term thinking' of a president whose policies shift more rapidly than the sands of Mordor.

And the IPO market once a fertile ground for new beginnings now lies fallow. Klarna and StubHub like hobbits hesitating at the borders of Mirkwood have delayed their journeys. Even CoreWeave daring to venture forth finds its path fraught with peril. 'You couldn't create a worse market,' they say! A truth whispered in the shadows of every boardroom.
Fool of a Tariff!
Some venture capitalists those who saw in Trump a savior now sing a different tune. One proclaims 'Tariff Derangement Syndrome,' while another boasts of long term thinking amidst economic chaos. And what of the great corporations the behemoths of the digital age? Silence! Their C suites like the Ents of Fangorn Forest remain unmoved unwilling to speak amidst the storm. Microsoft celebrating its 50th year finds its leaders dancing around the tariff question like Gollum around the Precious. Disruption indeed is very hard on people. But fear not for even in the darkest of times there is hope. Though the road ahead may be long and arduous perhaps even these events will lead to a better path. We shall see... we shall see.
