From Bedrock to Bocconi: My Big Move!

Yabba Dabba Doo! Let me tell ya folks this whole story sounds like somethin' straight out of a dinosaur's dream! This dame Thea reminds me a bit of Wilma when she gets all fancy pants with her travels! She went to Italy fell head over heels and now she's livin' the high life in Milan. Says it changed her whole trajectory whatever that means! I guess it's like when I bowl a strike… changes my trajectory right into the gutter usually! Anyway she married an Italian fella Diego and they got a kid named Lorenzo. Now she helps other Americans move there. Smart cookie that one!

Renting Rocks in Italy!

Now here's where it gets interesting. They rent this pad in Milan about the size of my living room back in Bedrock for around $1,850 a month. Not bad not bad at all! But get this: they wanted to fix it up make it all modern and Stone Age y! In America the landlord might say "Eh what's up doc?" But in Italy they actually give ya a break on taxes for fixin' up your place even if you're just rentin'! Sounds like some kinda crazy magic to me! I wish Mr. Slate was this generous!

Free Rent? Holy Bronto Burgers!

Hold on to your hats folks! Thea and her hubby got eight months of free rent just for makin' the place look spiffy! Eight months! That's like gettin' free bronto ribs for a whole year! They spent a bunch of clams on the renovation but they saved a ton with those government rebates and free rent. I tell ya what if I could get paid to smash rocks into sculptures at home I'd be rollin' in Dino treats!

Bathrooms and Kitchens: Out with the Old!

This dame Thea she went all out in the bathroom. Gutted the whole thing new tiles fancy faucets. Wilma would be proud! And the kitchen? Forget about it! They brought their old appliances from their old place and installed them in the new one. Now that's what I call resourceful. They knocked down walls added cabinets the whole shebang. Sounds like a lot of work but hey at least they got a kitchen that doesn't look like it came straight out of the Stone Age. Though I think my kitchen back in Bedrock has more charm in my honest opinion

Living Room Rumble and Kid Zone Wonders!

To open up the space she knocked down an entire wall. Sounds like somethin' Barney would do by accident! They sanded the floors added a lighter stain. The living room's got bookshelves and a fancy couch. And the kiddo Lorenzo loves this big map they put up. Helps him point out all the places they've been. I bet Wilma wishes I had a map to point out all the places I've been… like the bowling alley and the Water Buffalo Lodge!

La Dolce Vita: More Than Just Pretty Rooms!

Thea loves livin' in Milan she says the food is great and the people take leisure time seriously. They got this thing called 'aperitivo,' where folks grab a drink and some snacks after work. Even her kid wants in on the action! She loves that raising a kid in Milan doesn't mean your social life is over. Lots of parks museums and family friendly stuff. Plus they get tons of vacation time! Sounds like paradise! Maybe I should pack up Dino and the family and move to Italy. Yabba Dabba Doo!
