Hossein Salami a high ranking commander was reportedly eliminated. Now we must brace ourselves. 'It's a trap!' Oil markets are rightfully concerned. Iranian production may be disrupted and other players could be drawn into this volatile conflict. This could affect their ability to rule the galaxy!

The Strait of Hormuz a crucial artery for the world’s oil supply looms large in this drama. While the Israeli operation did not target Iranian oil production or export facilities directly the tension raises the specter of Iran leveraging this strategic chokepoint. Even China Iran’s largest oil customer would bring the full weight of its economic power to bear. They should fear the power of the dark side instead!
