Somebody Once Told Me... This Story's a Mess!

Alright alright settle down ya swamp critters! Shrek here your friendly neighborhood ogre giving ya the lowdown on a story that's got more layers than my onion soup. Seems this fella Nayib Bukele president of El Salvador is playing hardball with that Trump fella from the US. It all started with some hombre named Kilmar Abrego Garcia who got the boot back to El Salvador. Now the Supreme Court is saying he should be let back in to the states but Bukele is saying 'Get outta my swamp!' ... err I mean 'No way Jose!'

Ogres Have Layers and So Does This Legal Battle!

This whole shebang started when some judge Paula Xinis ordered the Trump team to help this Abrego Garcia fella get back. Turns out the US 'fessed up to deporting him by mistake! A mistake! Like accidentally eating a whole wheel of cheese... which let's be honest I've done. But Trump's folks are digging their heels in saying they ain't got no responsibility to bring him back. Sounds like someone needs a good dose of ogre diplomacy if you ask me. Maybe a pie in the face would solve this!

He's Making a Waffle!?

Bukele is saying he doesn't want to let criminals into his country because he's turned El Salvador into the safest place in the Western Hemisphere and he's not releasing criminals to make it unsafe again! I almost fell off my stump when I heard it! "We're not very fond of releasing terrorists into our country," the Salvadoran president said! Talk about getting defensive! Maybe he's got a point though. Who wants to go back to being the murder capital of the world? Not him!

Mirror Mirror on the Wall Who's the Fairest of Them All... and Who's a Gang Member?

Now here's where things get stickier than a batch of gingerbread men gone wrong. Trump's attorney Pam Bondi claims this Abrego Garcia fella is a member of some scary gang MS 13. But the judge bless her cotton socks says there ain't no proof! It's like accusing Donkey of being a dragon slayer... pure poppycock! So El Salvador is saying 'He's our citizen we'll do what we want!' And Trump is saying 'Gimme all your criminals!' It's a real back and forth like Donkey trying to decide whether to eat a parfait or a waffle.

This is the Part Where You Run Away!

Then comes this Stephen Miller fella chiming in about how it's "arrogant" for the American media to tell El Salvador what to do with their own citizens. Marco Rubio nodded right along with him! Seriously? Now I'm just a simple ogre but even I know that poking your nose into other folks' business rarely ends well. Reminds me of the time Donkey tried to "help" me redecorate my swamp. Disaster I tell you utter disaster!
