Okay fam so I was just chilling you know maybe thinking about my next Valorant stream (gotta clutch those rounds am I right?) when I saw this absolute BOMB on my timeline. Apparently Trump went on Truth Social (lol still?) and dropped this nugget: China's gonna give us rare earths *upfront* as part of a trade deal. Like what?! Alright so after I peeled my eyes away from the screen and actually *read* the whole thing it gets even weirder. Apparently this whole thing stems from some back and forth trade policies that have been causing chaos in ports and stressing out global supply chains. Trump says he's gonna work closely with Xi Jinping to open up China to American trade. 'A great WIN for both countries!!!' he exclaimed on Truth Social and 'Bigly!' Okay so if this deal goes through maybe we'll finally get some decent ping in China so I can properly collab with my Chinese streamer friends. Silver linings people silver linings!

Honestly I have no idea what's gonna happen. This whole thing feels like a plot twist in a K drama but knowing the stakes hopefully this benefits both sides.
