Meat on the Bone: Two Companies Ahoy!

Hey everyone! It's your captain Monkey D. Luffy! Listen up! It seems like Warner Bros. Discovery that big company with all the movies and shows is splitting into two! Shishishi! It's like when Sanji makes a HUGE meat platter and we have to divide it up fairly... except this time instead of meat it's uh...companies! One part is all about movies and streaming on HBO Max – that's where the good stuff is right? – and the other part is for news and sports like CNN and TNT! It's like having two treasure chests instead of one!

Zaslav's the Captain But Where's the Treasure?

This guy named David Zaslav is gonna be the captain of the movie and streaming ship. Sounds important! And another guy Gunnar Wiedenfels will lead the news and sports crew. I wonder if they have as much fun as we do? I bet they don't have a singing skeleton or a reindeer doctor! They’re saying this split will be done by the middle of 2026. That's like... a whole bunch of adventures away! I hope they find One Piece of their own shishishi!

Sharper Focus? Sounds Like Zoro's Training!

Zaslav says this split will let them focus better. 'Sharper focus,' he calls it. Sounds like Zoro training with his swords! Maybe they’ll get stronger and make even more awesome movies and shows. But will they have enough to eat? I hope they have a Sanji to cook for them. A good cook is more important than a strong sword I say!

Comcast is Doing It Too? Sounds Like a Party!

Apparently another big shot Comcast is splitting up too! It's like a chain reaction! One company starts the party and the others follow. They're calling their new company Versant. I wonder if they have any good snacks on their ship? If they do I'm inviting myself over!

Shares are Up! Did Someone Find Gold?

The news said that Warner Bros. Discovery shares went up! More than 9%! That's like finding a huge pile of gold! I wonder if I can get some of that gold... for meat! Shishishi! Maybe they can make a movie about our adventures! I'd play myself of course! And Sanji can cook for the whole crew during filming!

The Great Pirate Era of Media Companies!

So in the end it looks like it will become a Pirate Era in media with different groups going on their voyage! I wonder if they know that the 'King of the Pirates' will be me Monkey D. Luffy! Shishishi! So with all the split ups the media world is going to be interesting! I'll be watching with a belly full of meat and a heart full of adventure. Now where's the next island?
