Oi! Luffy here! So I heard some confusing stuff about Amazon which I guess is kinda like a super huge island filled with… things! Seems like this 'UBS' guy who probably eats way more veggies than meat (unlike me!) thinks Amazon's gonna have a bit of trouble. Something about 'tariffs'… Sounds like a weird kind of sea monster but apparently it means things are gonna cost more! Shishishi! Zoro's gonna complain when the sake prices go up!

The Price of Adventure is Going Up!

This 'Stephen Ju' fella he used to think Amazon was worth a REALLY big pile of treasure – like enough meat to last a year! – but now he's cut it down a bit. Still thinks it's worth a decent amount though enough for a few good feasts with my crew the Straw Hats! He says about half of the stuff Amazon sells is gonna get more expensive because of these tariff monsters. Nami's gonna have a fit; she's always worried about money!

Demand Destruction? Sounds Like a Super Attack!

Apparently when things get too pricey people won't buy as much. Ju calls it 'tariff driven demand destruction' but it kinda sounds like one of Zoro's super sword attacks! Less buying means less fun and that's no good for anyone! I need a lot of meat!

Tough Choices Ahead for the Common Pirate!

Ju also says that people might have to choose where to spend their hard earned Berries (that's money for you landlubbers!). Sounds like choosing between meat and… well more meat! I never have that problem I just eat everything! But I guess some people have to be careful. Sanji will probably just make everything taste better no matter what.

Global Rumble? Sounds Exciting!

And get this: if people don't buy stuff from other countries those countries might have to fire people! That's bad news! No one wants less food to go around but that's the real world. Sounds like things are getting tricky kinda like when we fought Crocodile in Alabasta!

But don't worry too much! Ju says Amazon is like a big strong pirate – they can handle these tariff monsters better than the smaller guys. They're still down a bit this year but they'll bounce back I know it! After all they wouldn't have lasted this long if they were not as strong. Shishishi!
