OMG Another Level Up!
Okay so like everyone's been buzzing about AI and all those super techy things right? But let me tell you cloud software is where it's AT. And Veza? They're killing it! They just snagged $108 million in funding. Like can you even imagine that many lip kits? Major congrats to them! I'm all about boss babes (and bros) making moves!
Visibility is the New Black
So Veza is all about helping companies manage who can access what inside their systems. Think of it as like knowing who's got the keys to the mansion and who's just hanging out by the pool. Snowflake's been using Veza for two years to make sure everyone's got the right access. Harsha Kapre from Snowflake said it's all about understanding who has access. I mean makes sense right? You don't want just anyone knowing your secrets. It's like 'Are you in the inner circle or nah?'
Over Provisioning? I Don't Know Her
Apparently 'over provisioning' is a thing which basically means giving too many people access to too much stuff. Honey that's just asking for trouble. It's like giving everyone a platinum Amex with no limit. Kapre said it raises the odds of an attack! With Veza admins can keep tabs on who's seeing what data. Super important for keeping everything secure. Safety first always!
Funding in a Funk? Not For Veza!
Okay so the article mentioned that funding for startups is kinda tough right now because of like grown up stuff like inflation and interest rates. But guess what? Veza is still thriving! It's because cybersecurity is so important these days. Everyone's getting hacked or at least it feels like it. Veza's in a good spot because they're helping companies stay safe. Slay!
Sleeping Industry? Wake Up People!
Tarun Thakur Veza's CEO said they've 'woken up a sleeping industry.' Which is kinda iconic NGL! Basically they're making access management cool and important. Veza runs across a bunch of security areas and even helps with managing AI agent identities. I mean the future is here people! I'm honestly shook.
Goals: Expansion Growth and More!
So what's next for Veza? World domination obviously! They're planning to use the funding to expand in the U.S. government (hello important!) and internationally. They're also building more integrations because like the more connected the better right? Peter Lenke from Atlassian said there's 'potential down the road' for them to become a client. I love a good 'to be continued' moment!
