A New Beast is Born
Hmph. General Motors… those mortals dare conjure another metal beast! They call it the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X – a 'hypercar,' they boast. As if speed alone grants worth. I have seen gods fall and these… engineers… believe they can create something comparable with gears and electricity? 'Boy,' they are fools. But let us see what manner of abomination they have wrought before I decide whether to tear it asunder.
Electrification? Bah!
This 'ZR1X' supposedly inherits the power of the Corvette ZR1 enhanced by… *spits*… 'electrification.' Twin turbo V 8 engine they say. Faster acceleration they claim. It is all for naught! Power without control is meaningless! It is like giving Atreus a fully charged Leviathan Axe without teaching him how to aim! I will reserve my judgement but such novelties rarely impress this Spartan.
Marketing Manager's Empty Words
One 'Megan Dalley,' a marketing manager dares proclaim 'America's true hypercar has arrived!' Such arrogance! These mortals speak of putting the 'world on notice.' Has the world forgotten the wars I have waged? The gods I have slain? This puny machine will frighten no one who has faced true power. I am putting YOU on notice woman. Watch your words.
Speed and Fury (But Mostly Speed)
233 mph they boast. 0 60 in under two seconds. Numbers. Meaningless without the heart of a warrior! The LT7 twin turbo V 8 generates 1,064 horsepower. An electric axle adds another 186. All wheel drive. So it's fast. Very fast. But can it survive the fires of Muspelheim? Can it endure the bite of Fimbulwinter? I think not.
Bloated Lineage A Growing 'Family'
Five different Corvette models now infest the roads. Like Hydra's heads they multiply! They speak of a 'Corvette family,' ranging from the Stingray to the ZR1. A 'highly profitable' family they add. These mortals think of only profit not honor not glory! Perhaps this 'family' should be culled…for the sake of balance.
All Electric Uncertainties
Whispers of an all electric Corvette linger. Good. Let them embrace the false promise of the future. It matters not! The gods had their Olympus and now they are dust. This electric dream will fade as well. They even consider a Corvette SUV? Preposterous! The gods must be laughing from whatever realm they now inhabit. Or is it me Kratos laughing?
