Another One Bites the Dust! (or Funding)

Blimey! It seems the Trump administration is at it again this time wielding a rather hefty 'Reducto!' spell on Harvard's coffers. Another $450 million in grants poof! Gone! Apparently this is on top of the $2.2 billion already frozen last week. Makes you wonder if they're trying to build a new Hogwarts somewhere else and Harvard's just not invited.

The Ministry... I Mean Task Force Has Spoken

According to the Joint Task Force to Combat Anti Semitism (sounds like a group Hermione would lead if she wasn't busy running the Ministry) Harvard is a 'breeding ground for virtue signaling and discrimination.' A bit harsh isn't it? Reminds me of Umbridge and her Educational Decrees. 'Hem hem,' indeed. I've seen less prejudiced behaviour from a grumpy house elf!

Harvard Strikes Back! (Expecto Patronum?)

Now Harvard isn't just taking this lying down like a flobberworm. Their President Alan Garber issued a statement defending the university's constitutional rights. They've filed a lawsuit which is wizarding for 'we're not backing down without a fight!' It's like watching Dumbledore duel Voldemort all over again only with more lawyers and less Avada Kedavras.

He Who Must Not Be Funded

Honestly this whole situation is giving me flashbacks to my time at Hogwarts constantly battling injustices. It's as if the Trump administration is determined to prove that 'It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies but just as much to stand up to our friends.' Though in this case I'm not sure if either side considers the other a 'friend' anymore. More like 'frenemies' on a Nargle hunt.

Is This the End of the Line for Harvard?

Will Harvard buckle under the pressure or will they pull a 'Harry Potter' and miraculously survive this onslaught? Only time will tell. But one thing's for sure this is a battle worth watching. It’s a reminder that even the most powerful institutions can face challenges and that sometimes you just have to 'fight the good fight,' even if it feels like you're facing a Hungarian Horntail without a wand.

Where's Hermione When You Need Her?

I'm just saying Hermione would have all the facts and figures sorted in a matter of minutes. She'd probably have a counter lawsuit drafted and ready to go before you could say 'Quidditch!' Perhaps I should owl her… unless Ron has already eaten all the owl treats. Again.
