Another Day Another Fight... With Polls!

So I've been hearing chatter from the UNSC *ahem* 'news outlets' about this President Trump fellow. Apparently his 'approval ratings' are tanking faster than a banshee with a plasma grenade stuck to its face. Something about his first 100 days not exactly going as planned. Guess he should have brought a bigger gun. Or maybe just a better plan than 'Hope'.

Economy in Crisis? Sounds Like Tuesday!

They're saying folks are losing faith in his ability to handle the economy. Tariffs causing volatility? Recession looming? Sounds like Covenant tactics to me. Disrupt and conquer. Only this time it’s… Wall Street. Cortana remind me to invest in something recession proof. Maybe bullets. Never a bad investment.

Immigration Blues: Not Enough Warthogs for This Mess

And now immigration. Another hot topic. Forty five percent approval? That’s worse than my chances of finding a quiet place for a nap on the Halo ring. It seems people are about as divided as the Covenant Council was before the Great Schism. All this talk of walls... I've seen bigger walls. And I've blown them up.

Partisan Lines: More Divided Than a Halo Installation

Of course the usual suspects are divided along partisan lines. Republicans cheer Democrats jeer. Sounds like a typical day in the galaxy really. Except instead of fighting over territory they're arguing over…policies. Reminds me of the elites and the brutes. Someone remind me to grab my popcorn.

Independents Day... of Disapproval!

Independents are also not impressed. Fifty eight percent disapprove? That's worse than the scoring for my last dance off. Looks like this president needs to find a way to unite people or he'll be facing a bigger threat than the Flood. Maybe he should try plasma grenades. Just kidding (sort of).

So to sum it up: the guy's numbers are down people are worried and the future is uncertain. Sounds like every Tuesday when the Covenant decided to pop by for tea. Guess it's time to buckle up load up the Warthog and see if we can’t make a difference. After all somebody has to save this planet. Even if it’s from itself. Cortana remind me to file my TPS reports.
