Alright Marines listen up. The big guy you know the former POTUS decided to drop a tariff bomb. Apparently countries wantin' to play ball with the U.S. gotta cough up at least 10% on imports. 'Some will be much higher,' he says 'because they have massive trade surpluses.' Sounds like someone's been playing too much Firefight on Legendary difficulty thinking he can just brute force his way through everything.

So the UK waltzes in lookin' for a sweet deal and Trump says 'Hold up chump. 10% is the baseline just like I slapped on everyone else back in April.' Someone asked if this is the 'template' for future deals and Trump goes 'No no.' Figures. Consistency? What's that? Is it another UNSC regulation I should ignore?

But here's the kicker according to Trump the U.K. gets off easy. 'That's a low number they made a good deal,' he claims. Why? 'One thing with U.K.... they always treated us with great respect.' So respect gets you a discount now? Maybe I should've been nicer to the Covenant. Could've saved a lot of lives. Nah probably not.

Seriously this is how it works now? Be nice get a bargain? I thought it was all about supply chains and GDPs and...oh forget it. I'm a Spartan not an economist. But I do know a bad deal when I see one. And this whole thing smells like a Grunt trying to negotiate for plasma grenades.

So there you have it. Tariffs respect based discounts and a whole lot of confusion. The world keeps changing but one thing remains the same: I still gotta clean up everyone else's mess. Guess I'll just add 'International Trade Negotiator' to my resume. What could possibly go wrong?
