Yabba Dabba Doo! Fred Flinstone here reporting live from Bedrock! And let me tell ya things are about as rocky as my car after a visit to the gravel pit. I hear tell that these 'restaurant stocks' are doing the Dino Dip! Seems like this 'recession' thing is scaring everyone more than a saber toothed tiger in a phone booth!

Tariffs! Sounds Like Something You Put on a Slab of Bronto Ribs!

This fancy pants President Trump guy he's slapping these 'tariffs' on everything! I don't know what a tariff is but it sounds like something Wilma would put on my bronto ribs to make 'em extra tasty! But apparently it's making everyone's clamshells a little lighter. Some brainiac called Dennis Geiger says it's not the tariffs themselves that'll hurt restaurants but that folks will have less to spend on eating out. As if I needed another reason to stay home and eat Wilma's famous gravelberry pie!

Starbucks? More Like Star BUST!

Even that fancy coffee place Starbucks is taking a beating! Seems like folks are blaming these tariffs for higher coffee prices. And with the world going crazy with political whatever you call its nobody wants to buy American stuff. I always thought Starbucks was named after a guy who bucks stars... whatever that means. Either way Wilma can make a coffee just as good out of roasted acorns!

Applebee's and IHOP Down the Drain o!

Even my favorite spots like Applebee's and IHOP are getting hit hard! What's a caveman to do when he can't get his fill of dino sized pancakes? Maybe I should invest in a new bowling ball instead... at least that always strikes!

Even the Fast Food is Slowing Down!

Those fast food joints usually the rock solid bets are feeling the heat too! Even McDonald's and Taco Bell are suffering! I always thought those places were supposed to be recession proof kinda like my bowling average (which is usually in the single digits). Turns out even the cheap eats are getting too pricey for some folks. Guess I'll be eating more pterodactyl burgers at home. Wilma's not thrilled but hey a man's gotta eat!

Hope Rises Like a Phoenix (Or a Hot Bronto Burger)!

But hey it's not all doom and gloom! Some places are actually doing well! A coffee shop called Dutch Bros. is rising higher than Dino when I give him a bone. And even Domino's is delivering profits! Maybe there's hope for Bedrock's economy after all. For now I'm gonna go home give Wilma a big hug and hope for the best. Yabba Dabba Doo... maybe?
