Commissioner Gordon wouldn’t like this and neither do I. But the clowns in Washington seem to think everything is just peachy. Peter Navarro a man who clearly hasn't faced the Joker's laughing gas calls it 'the best negative print' he’s ever seen. Some people just want to watch the world burn and apparently Navarro wants to watch the economy smolder.

Beneath the Surface: A Detective's Deduction

Navarro claims to see a surge in domestic investment. A 22% increase he boasts! It's like the Riddler leaving a clue wrapped in a riddle. He insists that if you just ignore those pesky tariffs and the influx of imports the economy is growing at 3%. He wants us to ignore the giant iceberg right in front of the Titanic. Does this man think we’re all as gullible as the Penguin trying to pass off umbrellas as advanced weaponry? I have a contingency for liars I just hope it doesn't come to that.

The Trump Card: A Risky Gamble?

These numbers reflect the first two months of Trump's second term. I'm starting to think even Two Face has better judgement. It seems this 'America First' strategy might be 'America Last' if things continue this way. The stock market is trembling and the S&P 500 is down more than 7% this year. It is like Gotham has already been poisoned by Scarecrow's toxin and chaos and fear are spreading rapidly.

Navarro's Denial: A Villainous Tactic?

This isn’t the first time Navarro has brushed off economic concerns. Remember that 1,000 point drop in the Dow after Trump's tariff announcement? Navarro called it 'no big deal.' It is clear that he thinks people are clowns but the truth is that no one is laughing. Tell that to the families who watched their retirement savings evaporate faster than a criminal under my interrogation lamp.

The Economic Bat Signal: Time to Prepare

While the clowns in Washington play pretend Gotham and indeed the entire nation needs to prepare. This could be a sign of dark days ahead. Maybe it's time to dust off my 'Recession Response' plan.
