Hiya Dreamhouse dwellers! It's Barbie here reporting live from... well not Malibu this time! I'm totally crushing on Salt Lake City! Apparently this place went from 'meh' to 'major' after the 2002 Winter Olympics. Former Gov. Michael Leavitt said it was like a perfect storm of awesome – growing population tech blossoming and a startup culture. It’s like when I finally mastered coding – pure magic!

Banking on the Future: Cha Ching!

And guess what? Salt Lake City is also a major player in the finance world! Like they've got more industrial banks than you can shake a sparkly ski pole at! Who knew finance could be so fabulous? It's almost as exciting as designing my next Dreamhouse! Almost.

Snow Much Winning!

The "snow economy" is totally unique. When Salt Lake City hosts the Winter Olympics again in 2034 the world will see them shine. It's going to be like a winter wonderland but with better Wi Fi I hope! Imagine all the cute outfits!

Uh Oh! Trouble in Paradise?

Okay so even paradise (and the Dreamhouse!) has its problems. Climate change and a lack of diversity are real buzzkills. Seriously we need to work on this stat! "Math is hard," but figuring out how to save the planet and embrace everyone shouldn't be! Let's get brainstorming people!

Can They Pull It Off? Totally!

So can Salt Lake City keep its sparkle? I totally think so! They just need to tackle these challenges head on and remember "We girls can do anything right?" (Yes even solve climate change!).
