Kenough is Enough! Congressman Green Ditches the House for a Real-World Dream House!

Life in Plastic It's Fantastic...Or is it?

Hi Dreamhouse dwellers! Barbie here reporting live from... well not exactly the Dreamhouse today. News broke that Congressman Mark Green is hanging up his political hat and saying 'So long Congress!' on July 20th. Apparently being a voice in Washington just wasn't as fabulous as say designing a new line of eco friendly doll clothes. I mean who can blame him? Even I need a break from all the sparkle sometimes. Green wrote a sentimental goodbye note expressing gratitude for his time serving Tennessee's 7th District. Awww how…touching. But seriously it is always important to appreciate and thank those who supported you along the way! After all "We girls can do anything right Ken?"... I mean right EVERYONE?

House Majority? More Like House Minority...of Fun!

Okay so here's the real tea. Green's departure means the Republicans now have an even tinier majority in the House. I'm talking like trying to fit all my shoes into one tiny closet tiny. Speaker Mike Johnson was already struggling to get everyone on board with Trump's 'big beautiful bill,' and now? Well let's just say it's going to be harder than convincing Ken to wear something other than that matching denim outfit. It seems that convincing people to agree on things is harder than choosing the right accessories for an outfit! And honey that is a tough job.

From Homeland Security to...World Domination?!

Now here's where it gets interesting. Green claims he's leaving to start a business that will help America compete against the CCP. Sounds like something out of a Barbie Spy Adventure movie! I wonder if he'll need a cool disguise and a high tech Dream Camper? He kept the deets secret but I'm picturing a cross between a tech startup and a super secret agent HQ. Who knows maybe his new job will involve a fashion makeover too! As I always say: "Think positively!"

Turnover is So Last Season

Green's exit is just the latest in a string of lawmakers doing the political cha cha out of Congress. It seems everyone's getting a bit restless. It is like everyone wants to try different outfits. One guy even left to join Trump's administration... before leaving that role too! It's like musical chairs but with less glitter and more paperwork. "Math is hard," even I know that and this political shuffling seems complicated!

Nebraska: The Next Dreamhouse Location?

And hold on to your tiny hats because another Republican Don Bacon is also retiring. This opens the door for the Democrats to snag his seat in Nebraska! Could this be the start of a whole new political fashion trend? Maybe I should move the Dreamhouse to Omaha? I hear the cornfields are lovely this time of year and would pair nicely with my summer collection. "I love my life!" Who wouldn't love to live in Nebraska? Well... maybe Ken.
