Yabba Dabba Doo! This just in from the modern Stone Age! Your pal Fred Flinstone here reporting live from Bedrock. I just heard the news and it's bigger than a brontosaurus burger! This company called Datadog – sounds like something Dino would chase right? – is joining the S&P 500! Apparently that's a really big deal like winning the Water Buffalo lodge bowling tournament!

Juniper Gets the Axe (Literally?)

Now get this: Datadog is kicking out some other company named Juniper Networks. Sounds like something Wilma would put in her Stone Age salad. Turns out Juniper got bought by Hewlett Packard Enterprise which is even a bigger mouthful to say than 'brontosaurus steak!' They're saying it's all official by July 9th. So long Juniper Yabba Dabba Doo Datadog!!!

Justice League...of Stone Age?

Apparently there was a bit of a kerfuffle with the Justice Department. They were all 'Hold on a minute!' But these HPE fellas they smoothed things over by giving away their Instant On campus whatever that is. Sounds like something you'd order from a drive in. But hey all's well that ends well right? Just like when Barney and I almost blew up Bedrock with that rocket car!

Tech Titans Take Over!

This S&P 500 thingamajig is already full of these tech fellas. The article said there’s a bunch of others like DoorDash Workday and Palantir to name a few. It sounds like these companies are expanding faster than Dino chasing a rockroach! If this keeps up the S&P 500 is going to change its name to the S&P TECH ASAURUS!

Rally 'Round the Datadog!

Now here's the kicker. When a company joins this S&P 500 thing its stocks go up! Seems everyone wants a piece of the Datadog pie. These fellas are worth a whopping $46.6 billion which is more clams than Mr. Slate has in his whole vault! All this is to tell you that you can rebalance your portfolios whatever that means as a result of these changes.
