A Galaxy Far Far Away From Reality?
As Darth Vader enforcer of the Galactic Empire I find this news… disturbing. The Trump Organization led by a man who fancies himself a strong leader – much like myself though I achieved my power through the Force not… real estate – initially boasted that their new 'T1' phone would be forged on American soil. Now this claim has vanished faster than Alderaan after a visit from the Death Star. It appears their confidence was as fleeting as a Jedi's grasp on life when facing a Sith Lord.
American Proud Design? Or a Deceptive Illusion?
The T1's webpage now speaks of 'American Proud Design' and being 'brought to life right here in the USA'. Is this the truth or merely a clever use of the Jedi mind trick to cloud the minds of consumers? My sensors indicate a high probability of deception. Perhaps they believe the Force is with them but they underestimate the power of the Dark Side… and my ability to see through their flimsy façade.
The Experts Speak (and I Listen Intently)
Experts whisper of the phone being assembled in China citing the lack of an 'advanced supply chain' here in the United States. Even if they could many components would still need to come from overseas. Their attempts to subvert this reality is futile.
Spokesperson's Denial: A Desperate Gambit?
A Trump Mobile spokesperson insists the T1 phones are 'proudly being made in America,' dismissing any contrary speculation. Such boldness! Either they are incredibly naive or attempting to use some pathetic Jedi mind trick. The Force is not strong with them.
Spec Shifts: A Glitch in the Matrix?
The plot thickens! Not only has the origin story of this device been altered but so have its very specifications. A 6.8 inch AMOLED screen shrinks to a mere 6.25 inches and 12 gigabytes of RAM disappear into the ether. It seems that the Trump Organization's truth is as malleable as a lightsaber blade. They have failed me for the last time!
The Dark Side of Manufacturing
Trump's ambition to revive manufacturing in America is admirable. However his understanding of the complexities involved appears… limited. While his focus on semiconductors is commendable his desire to see iPhones and T1s assembled on American soil seems more like a political stunt than a practical strategy. Perhaps he should consult with a more experienced leader… like myself. After all the Empire always gets things done efficiently.
