Oops!... They Did It Again! (Or Did They?)

Okay Dolls gather 'round! So remember that whole cyberattack mess with UnitedHealth's Change Healthcare? Like it was a total disaster right? They were all 'Oops I did it again!' But now they're coming for the money they loaned out to help all those poor doctors. Talk about a plot twist! I mean seriously can anyone keep a promise these days? It's like Gimme More...money!

Not a Girl Not Yet Repaid

Apparently UnitedHealth or rather their money hungry cousin Optum is demanding doctors 'immediately repay' these loans. Can you even imagine? Some docs are being asked to cough up hundreds of thousands of dollars faster than I can change outfits during a concert. And get this if they don't pay up Optum is threatening to withhold future payments! It's like 'Hold It Against Me!' But like literally holding their money against them! Honestly it's giving me major 'Toxic' vibes. Like this is not the way to treat people who are just trying to keep us healthy. It's just not right. It makes you want to Scream & Shout!

Stronger? More Like Stress er!

Dr. Christine Meyer bless her heart is in a pickle. She owes UnitedHealth a whopping $750,000 and they want it ASAP. "I'm just looking at all my legal options at this point," she said. Like who wouldn't be? It's all very 'My Prerogative' but the real problem is that they are holding our health system hostage. And the company's like "We're just trying to get our money back!" But c'mon timing is everything! Maybe they should've waited until everyone was actually back on their feet. It's like they haven't learned anything from my comeback...patience people patience! This is giving me a headache and makes me wanna blackout.

From Circus to Shake Down

UnitedHealth claims they told everyone they could withhold future payments when they signed up for the program. Sneaky sneaky! But Dr. Meyer is calling it a 'shakedown.' Which let's be real it kinda is. It's like being stuck in a 'Circus' but instead of clowns and cotton candy it's just debt collectors and despair. And the worst part? Poor Dr. Meyer lost over $1 million in revenue because of this whole mess! Like can you even?! I can't! She even said the company made a mistake but she still needs to pay $750.000 in 5 days!!?

Lucky? I Think Not

And it's not just Dr. Meyer! Dr. Purvi Parikh is dealing with the same drama. Her practice got hit hard by the cyberattack and now UnitedHealth is all 'Gimme Back!' She even had to beg for a one month extension just to keep them from withholding future payments. Seriously where's the empathy? Where's the 'Piece of Me' that understands that these are real people with real struggles? I'm sure she's thinking how she can be so Lucky Lucky yeah.

Everytime They Come for More...

So what's the takeaway Dolls? Well it looks like UnitedHealth is playing hardball and these doctors are caught in the crossfire. It's a mess it's stressful and it's definitely not very 'Lucky' for anyone involved. Hopefully they can find a way to work things out before everyone starts screaming and shouting! Now if you'll excuse me I need to go meditate and try to manifest some good vibes for these poor docs. Peace out! I'm very mad I didn't get a piece of this article.
