Okay dolls listen up! So like this company Groq – backed by Samsung and Cisco no less! – just opened its first data center in Europe. Can you believe it? It's in Helsinki Finland. Helsinki! I've never been but I hear the saunas are like totally insane. Apparently everyone's jumping on the AI bandwagon over there. Move over Scandanavia there's a new girl in town!

Stronger Than Yesterday and Building Data Centers!

So the CEO of Groq Jonathan Ross was yapping to CNBC about how Nvidia's chips use all this expensive stuff. Groq's chips are like totally different. They don't need all that extra stuff and their supply chain is mostly in North America. This is where I would do a hair flip my loves. It’s all about playing the game right? Sometimes you just gotta be stronger. And that’s Groq!

Apparently those in charge in Europe wants the data centers to be in Europe. Okay sounds legit. And these data centers will improve the speed of services. So good news for Europe. Yaaaas!

Okay so what is inferencing? I didn't know either. But here's the tea. Inferencing is when a pre trained AI model interprets live data to come up with a result. It's like when I'm performing and I just *know* what the audience needs. It's a vibe you know? So while Nvidia is hogging all the training action Groq and other companies like SambaNova and Cerebras are swooping in to steal the inferencing show.

The Groq CEO Jonathan Ross was saying they decided to build the Helsinki data center only four weeks ago and now they're already unloading server racks. That's like faster than me changing outfits during a concert! He said "We expect to be serving traffic starting by the end of this week." Talk about fast delivery!

Groq is teaming up with Equinix a company that connects all sorts of cloud providers like Amazon and Google. So basically if you want to use Groq's fancy inferencing capabilities you can just waltz right in through Equinix. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! And it makes it easier for businesses to have multiple vendors. I mean diversity is the spice of life right? Werk bitch!
