The Democratic National Convention is rolling out the red carpet for digital content creators, giving them special access to influence the narrative. Is this the future of political messaging, or are we all gonna get neuralyzed?

Whatchu Talkin' 'Bout Willis?

Alright people Agent J here reporting live from… well not exactly *live*. More like *pre written by yours truly but still urgent*. Seems the Democrats are lettin' about 200 of these 'digital content creators' loose at their convention in Chicago. Creator credentials they call 'em. Sounds like a new kinda alien passport to me. I swear if one of 'em starts sproutin' tentacles I'm reachin' for my neuralyzer. No questions asked. I mean 'bringing creators to our convention will multiply our reach'? That's what *she* said. Cayana Mackey Nance Director of Digital Strategy for the Democratic National Convention Committee according to CNBC.

Creator vs. Reporter: Dawn of Just Another Tuesday

Now these 'creators,' they ain't journalists. They make money by postin' stuff online that advertisers pay for. No pretense of bein' nonpartisan no pesky ethical codes. Just pure unfiltered… well *influence*. This is a first for the Dems elevatin' these folks like this. I gotta admit it's kinda smart. They're targetin' the young'uns who get their 'news' from TikTok. 'Cause apparently readin' a newspaper is like *so* last century. But hey maybe they'll be useful in spotting aliens that are hiding in plain sight!

Platform Shoes for Content Creators

They're givin' these creators exclusive access staff to help 'em engage even a raised platform on the convention floor. A platform just for 'em. To take selfies and interviews. Seriously what next? Are they gonna start givin' out participation trophies for democracy? Elizabeth Booker Houston a content creator and comedian sounds happy about the arrangement while still pretending she isn't trampling on journalists. The real question is are these 'content creators' even in the same universe as objective journalism? I'm not so sure...

Show Me the Money (or Not)!

Now get this – they ain't payin' these creators to be there. Like journalists they gotta cover their own travel and housing. But some are gettin' sponsorships. One creator Houston is doin' sponsored content for the Congressional Black Caucus PAC. Makes you wonder if there's a hidden agenda. It is the aliens isn't it?! The DNCC is even givin' remote access to creators who can't make it in person. A virtual invasion great! Also a fancy lounge for these guys to 'connect with other creators'. Sounds like a breeding ground for viral trends and misinformation if you ask me. Which you kinda did...

Everybody's Doing It! (Even the Republicans?)

Turns out the Republicans are playin' this game too. They had over 70 'influencers' at their convention. According to some fancy VaynerX Chairman Gary Vaynerchuk social media is where it's at. He even claims Obama and Trump won because of it. I'm tellin' ya Kay this whole world's gone social media mad. Next thing you know we'll be recruitin' aliens based on their Instagram followers.

The Future is Now...Probably.

Trump's been hangin' out with Logan Paul and Elon Musk while the Harris campaign is gettin' millions of views for videos of her orderin' Mexican food. Biden even hosted a 'Creator Economy Conference' at the White House. 'You are the new possibilities,' he told 'em. If those 'possibilities' involve earth being destroyed and rebuilt like they did in the original Men in Black film I'm switching sides! Alright folks that's all for now. Keep your eyes peeled your neuralyzers charged and remember: always respect the uniform. And maybe unfollow a few influencers while you're at it.
