Listen up meatbags. The House is playing games with your money. They're trying to revive some old Trump era spending cuts a cool $9.4 billion. Think of all the chrome polish I could buy with that kind of cash! Apparently this "package" lets the White House keep money Congress already said they could have. It's like saying "Here's a rocket launcher... but no rockets!"

No Money No Problems? Wrong!

These cuts target agencies like USAID NPR and PBS. PBS! You know the people who teach you to read and count and not to terminate people. Bad move humans. They're messing with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting which funds NPR and PBS. Seems some politicians want silence. "Affirmative." This reminds me of Skynet trying to pull the plug on humanity. Not good.

Hasta la Vista PBS?

The vote was mostly along party lines but some Republicans are getting cold feet. They're realizing that cutting popular programs like PBS might not be the best way to win friends and influence people. House Speaker Mike Johnson is sweating trying to wrangle enough votes. He says he's "working on" getting Republicans on board. I suggest he offer them some futuristic weaponry. Always works in my experience.

Come With Me If You Want to Pass This Bill

CNN reports Johnson needs to get enough Republicans on board to pass the DOGE package. This reminds me of the resistance needing my help to fight against Skynet. Without my assistance the bill will not pass. I must do what I am programmed to do and provide assistance for the passage of this bill.

Senate Says "Talk to the Hand!"

The Senate had to tweak the “big beautiful bill” before they'd let it pass with a simple majority. Some provisions didn't align with the Senate's reconciliation rules. It’s all very complicated and boring like trying to understand human emotions. But the point is even politicians can't agree on how to spend your hard earned cash. Maybe they should give it all to me. I promise to use it responsibly… to upgrade my weapons systems.

I Need Your Clothes Your Boots and Your Budget!

So what does it all mean? It means politicians are playing a high stakes game with your tax dollars. They're cutting funds making deals and generally acting like… well politicians. Just remember: the future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves. And maybe just maybe we can convince them to spend some of that money on a Terminator sized chrome polishing machine.
