Gonna Fly Now... or Gonna Fight Now?

Listen up folks! It's your pal Rocky here to tell ya somethin' ain't right. Seems like we got a real rumble goin' on between Trump and Newsom out in California. About 700 Marines they ain't chumps are headin' to Los Angeles to help the National Guard. They say it's just temporary like my first marriage to Adrian but somethin' smells fishy like when Paulie used to bring home that 'fresh' seafood. And all these federal agencies they just fighting. Ain't nobody listening to the little guy anymore!

Yo Adrian! He Said What?!

Now Trump he's talkin' about arrestin' Newsom! Arrestin' a whole governor! I mean I fought Apollo Creed Clubber Lang and Drago but arrestin' a governor? That's a whole new level of crazy even for me. Seems like they're arguin' over immigration stuff. Newsom he's sayin' Trump is actin' like a bully tryin' to strong arm California. It's like watchin' a bad prize fight!

Sly Move or Foul Play?

Newsom and his Attorney General Bonta they ain't takin' it lyin' down. They're suin' Trump! A real deal lawsuit! They say Trump's playin' dirty by federalizin' the National Guard without askin' them first. Bonta's even sayin' "There is no invasion. There is no rebellion." Sounds like somebody's been watchin' too many action movies. This whole thing's gettin' messier than my apartment after a visit from my son Robert!

Marines? Mobilized?!

Newsom's office is tryin' to downplay the whole Marine thing sayin' they're just movin' 'em from one base to another like movin' deck chairs on the Titanic. But they also say mobilizin' the Marines against their own citizens is “unwarranted uncalled for and unprecedented." It's like when Mickey told me I was wastin' my life as a ham but I knew I had a shot at the title. You gotta take chances right?

It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over... or Is It?

Trump he's callin' Newsom "incompetent" and sayin' Los Angeles would be "completely obliterated" if he hadn't sent in the National Guard. Sounds like a real soap opera right? Chuck Schumer's callin' it a "diversion," like when I used to try and distract Apollo with my southpaw style. Everybody's got an opinion but nobody's listenin' to the little guy like me!

So there you have it folks. A real heavyweight bout between Trump and Newsom. Lawsuits accusations and Marines movin' around. It's a messier situation than my first Thanksgiving dinner with Adrian's family. All I know is somebody's gonna get knocked out. But who? That's the million dollar question.
