Okay Imane here and I'm looking at this news about Trump possibly adding *thirty six* more countries to the travel ban list. Thirty six! That's like more than the number of times I've accidentally muted myself on stream (okay maybe not quite that many but close!). Honestly I had to double check this wasn't a MrBeast challenge gone wrong. Like 'Last country to leave the US wins $100,000!' Someone pinch me; is this real life?

Apparently this whole thing is outlined in a State Department cable signed by… Marco Rubio? Wait the same Marco Rubio who's always tweeting about the latest meme? I didn't know he was also moonlighting as a diplomat! No shade just surprised. I guess everyone has their side hustle even politicians. Makes you wonder if he drops a 'PogChamp' in official documents too.

Passport Security: Are We Talking Real ID or Just Really Bad Selfies?

So one of the concerns is 'questionable security' of some countries' passports. I’m imagining passports with like filters on the photos and Comic Sans as the font. Seriously though I get the need for secure documents but let’s be real some of my old driver’s license photos were a national security risk themselves! Bad lighting is a serious problem. But terrorism?! Yikes!

Visa Overstays: The OG AFK Move?

Another issue is people overstaying their visas. Okay I get it deadlines are important. But sometimes you just lose track of time especially when you're binging Netflix or grinding in Valorant. I'm not condoning breaking the rules but I understand the temptation to hit that 'next episode' button. Maybe we need a 'visa extension' stream where people can donate to extend their stay. Just kidding... unless?

Okay let's get serious for a sec. Terrorism and anti American activity? Absolutely not okay. That's a major yikes from me. I'm all for freedom of speech and opinions but violence and hate? So these countries have 60 days to get their acts together. That's like a speedrun challenge in real life! Can they do it? Will they meet the benchmarks? Only time will tell.
