Okay so like I just heard the craziest thing. Apparently New York City Comptroller Brad Lander who’s like running for mayor was legit *detained* by ICE. I know right? I had to read it twice. My first thought was "Are those guys part of my security team?" LOL. His wife Meg said he was just helping someone at immigration court when BAM! Handcuffs.

Judicial Warrants? I'm Confused.

There's even like a video where Brad is asking for a judicial warrant. I mean I don't even know what that is but it sounds super important right? Like "Are you sure you have the right person?" vibes. It’s giving me like serious 'rise and shine' but make it political ya know?

Being Taken Away... So Dramatic!

Meg was saying how she felt watching Brad being taken away and that like it will be okay for them but what about everyone else? So real and so sad for those families! She's out there fighting for people who don't have the same resources. It's kinda like when I forget my lip kit... a total crisis!

So Brad is running for mayor and the election is NEXT WEEK?! Like that's soon. I can't even decide what color lipstick to wear tomorrow let alone who should run a whole city! It sounds like a real problem for him.

Senators and Handcuffs? What a Vibe!

And get this before Brad's situation Sen. Alex Padilla got handcuffed too! It’s giving 'I'm gonna do what's best for my company and get some work done'. Like is everyone getting handcuffed these days? Talk about a Monday mood! Can't anyone just ask questions anymore?

Even New York Attorney General Letitia James is like super mad about it. She called it a “shocking abuse of power”. Like woah! Talk about a dramatic entrance. Sounds like New York is ready to fight back and stand up for what's right. Okay period! I'm like so ready for my next vacation after hearing all of this crazy stuff. I just need some peace and quiet!
