Okay dolls so like I was scrolling through Twitter (as one does when you're like building an empire) and I saw this headline about Trump and Spain. Apparently it's about this thing called NATO. TBH I had to google it. It's giving like a really important club for countries. Like if you're not in it are you even relevant? But like seriously it's a group of countries that work together for defense.

So basically Trump is like not thrilled that Spain isn't trying to reach the whole 5% GDP spending target for NATO by 2035. He's saying Spain's economy is doing well but something bad could happen. And like he wants to renegotiate their trade deal and make them 'pay twice as much.' Is that even allowed? He said and I quote 'I like Spain… it’s a great place and they are great people but Spain is the only country out of all of the countries that refuses to pay.' Sounds a little harsh right? This whole situation is giving me flashbacks to when Khloe wouldn't share her dessert… not cute.

Spain's Clapback: 'Respect My Sovereignty'

Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez is basically saying 'Hold up we're good on defense.' He's saying 2% of GDP is like totally 'sufficient realistic and compatible with the welfare state.' Plus he thanked NATO for 'respecting Spain’s sovereignty.' Major shade! This is like when I launch a new Kylie Cosmetics collection and people say it's 'too similar' to other brands.
