Capitol Hill Combat Zone

They drew first blood not me! These politicians are at it again. Word is they're locked in some kinda 'vote a rama' over Trump's big bill. Sounds like a fancy name for a good old fashioned brawl. Been there done that. This time it's on Capitol Hill not some jungle. But the principle's the same: survive.

White House Smoke and Mirrors

The White House is playin' games. They said Trump met with some big shot Republicans but those guys are sayin' 'Negative Contact!' Seems someone's been breathin' too much swamp gas. These politicians think they can lie and get away with it. They forget 'to survive a war you gotta become war.' And I got a nose for BS.

Party Lines and Lone Wolves

Looks like the Dems are throwin' grenades tryin' to blow holes in this bill. One senator is trying to save hospitals from gettin' the axe. Even got a couple of Republicans to cross the line. But it ain't enough. They're outnumbered outgunned. But that's never stopped me before.

Amendment Ambush

These senators are pulling out all the stops filing amendments like they're shootin' bullets. Most of 'em won't hit their target. It's all about sendin' a message makin' the other side sweat. They wanna make Republicans look bad for supportin' controversial stuff. Politicians playing politics. Shocker.

The July 4th Deadline: A Mission Impossible?

Republicans are chasin' a deadline like a wounded animal. They gotta get this bill through before July 4th or it's game over. But they're fightin' amongst themselves. One senator's already jumpin' ship. This is gonna be a close one. 'Live for nothing or die for something.' Looks like they're still decidin'.

House of Cards

Even if the Senate gets its act together the House is waitin' with its own set of traps. Some Republicans over there are already throwin' shade at the Senate version of the bill. This whole thing could fall apart like a house of cards. But hey 'nothing is over!'...until they say it is. And even then I'm not so sure.
