False! It's Bearman.Beets.Battlestar Galactica
As Assistant Regional Manager (in my mind) and volunteer Sheriff's Deputy I Dwight K. Schrute am uniquely qualified to comment on matters of national security fiscal responsibility and the proper use of beets. And this budget...this so called "big beautiful bill"...is an outrage! The so called Congressional Budget Office (CBO) a group I assume is composed entirely of city folk who wouldn't know a good beet if it slapped them in the face estimates that it will add $2.4 trillion to the national debt. Two. Point. Four. Trillion! That's more than the annual sales of Schrute Farms Beets! And I move a lot of beets
Paper Beats Rock But Can It Beat Debt?
This “budget,” cobbled together by House Republicans will decrease federal revenues by $3.7 trillion! What are we a bunch of beet eating simpletons? You can't just decrease revenue! That's like decreasing the water supply to my beet farm! It'll wither! It'll die! Is anyone thinking about the beets?! And the spending cuts of $1.3 trillion? Are they cutting funding for beet research? For proper scarecrow construction? Because if so I have some serious concerns. These cuts are like Michael Scott’s management skills – misguided and ultimately self defeating.
Senate Serpents and Fiscal Hawks!
The Senate is already picking this thing apart. I have to admire some of these “deficit hawks.” They're like the bears in my beet field always vigilant always hungry always ready to tear something apart if it doesn't smell right. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin (a state known for its cheese not its beets sadly) called the bill "grotesque" and "immoral." Immoral! As if! Clearly he's never had to face a wild animal threatening his livelihood. That's truly immoral! I once wrestled a bobcat for a bushel of beets. THAT'S dedication!
Elon Musk: The New Jim Halpert of Fiscal Policy?
And now Elon Musk the DOGE himself! (I'm not sure what DOGE is but it sounds powerful like a mythical beet eating dragon) has entered the fray calling the bill a "disgusting abomination." Disgusting! Abomination! These are strong words even for someone who builds rockets! Is Elon Musk the Jim Halpert of Fiscal Policy always playing pranks and causing chaos.
Trump's Impatience: A Race Against the Beets!
Trump wants this “big beautiful bill” on his desk by July 4th! July 4th?! That's beet harvesting season! He expects me to focus on this fiscal foolishness when I should be ensuring the nation's beet supply?! This is like asking a volunteer Sheriff's Deputy to file paperwork instead of chasing criminals! Preposterous! He wants to bypass those pencil pushers who are clearly less qualified than he is but I can tell that this will create bigger problems down the road.
CBO: Credible? Or Credibly Wrong About Beets?
And of course Trump allies are attacking the CBO's credibility. “They've been historically wrong,” they say. Well have they ever accurately predicted the yield of a Schrute Farms beet harvest? I think not! The only true measure of credibility is beet related accuracy and I suspect the CBO falls woefully short. In conclusion this budget is a disaster a beet fueled bonfire of fiscal irresponsibility. I Dwight K. Schrute stand against it. For the beets. For the nation. For America!
