Apparently President Trump decided it was time for a little 'spring cleaning' at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Two Democratic board members Todd Harper and Tanya Otsuka got the boot. Can you believe it? It's like someone rearranging my closet without asking—totally uncool!

Now I know what you're thinking: What *is* the NCUA? Well it's like the lifeguard for all the credit unions out there making sure they're not doing anything too splashy with your money. This reminds me of that time I was an astronaut and they told me my space suit wasn't 'regulation pink' – I mean come on! It’s space! Who cares?

But wait there's more drama! Apparently Trump has been on a bit of a firing spree lately. He tried to oust some Democratic commissioners at the Federal Trade Commission and is also after some folks at federal labor boards. It’s like he's playing a real life version of 'Musical Chairs,' but instead of a chair it’s a government position. Talk about stressful!

Twist in the Tale: A Plot Thickens!

And here’s where it gets really juicy. Harper was *originally* appointed by Trump! Then Biden made him chairman. It’s like when I thought Ken was going to propose but then he gave me a friendship bracelet instead. Talk about a plot twist! Otsuka was nominated by Biden and confirmed by the Senate in 2023; she was due to stay in the role until 2029.
