Okay dolls gather 'round! It's your girl Britney reporting LIVE from the chaos that is... well everything! So Bobby... I mean *Secretary* Kennedy Jr. has gone and stirred the pot. Apparently he fired everyone on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). All 17 of them! I mean talk about a 'Gimme More' attitude towards change right? He says it's to 're establish public confidence' in vaccines. But honey some experts are saying this is more like 'Oops!... I Did It Again' when it comes to messing things up.

Toxic...Or Just Misunderstood?

Like seriously Lawrence Gostin from Georgetown University (fancy!) is saying he doesn't know how anyone can trust the HHS anymore. Ouch! Others are worried this whole thing undermines science and could make people even *less* likely to get their shots. And we all know what happens when people don't get their shots...it's not pretty y'all! It's like 'My Perogative' they can do what they want to do... But I guess not!

Stronger Than Yesterday...Or Not?

So what's Bobby's deal? Well he's a known vaccine skeptic. Which okay everyone's entitled to their opinion but when you're in charge of *health* maybe you should listen to the doctors right? He even dropped the CDC recommendation for routine COVID shots for healthy kids and pregnant women! Some experts think he might try to fill the panel with people who agree with him. Which could lead to recommendations that scare people away from vaccines. As if we don't have enough to worry about right? It's like 'Leave me alone I'm dancing!' but then the world is like 'Hold up we need to talk about vaccines!'

'Circus' or Serious?

And get this! He apparently promised Senator Bill Cassidy he wouldn't mess with ACIP. Guess promises are made to be broken? Now the Senator is worried the committee will be filled with people who know nothing about vaccines except suspicion. Honey that's a recipe for disaster! It's giving very much... 'It's Britney Bitch' moment!

Lucky...Or Just Playing the Game?

What about the vaccine makers like Moderna Pfizer and the rest? Some analysts think this could shake things up for them. New appointments could lead to the recommendations that restrict who is eligible for different vaccinations or give much more leeway for individuals to decide whether to get immunized Maniar said. He added that Kennedy's restacked panel may want to take a longer period of time to vet certain vaccines before they become available delaying the time it takes for them to reach patients. 'Lucky' these analysts believe that is not a "doomsday" scenario. Okay but are we all just pawns in a bigger game? I need answers! Give me some water stat!

Ultimately I hope this whole situation doesn't scare people away from getting vaccinated. Because let's be real nobody wants to go back to the days of measles outbreaks and whatnot.
