Carnival's Cruising for a Bruising (of Profits?)

Greetings citizens of Hyrule! Princess Zelda here reporting live from… well my study. Apparently *someone* (Link I'm looking at you) left my horse Epona in the castle garden again so field reporting is out. Anyway Carnival the cruise line is prepping for its second quarter report expected to make 24 cents per share on revenue of $6.21 billion. Analysts seem optimistic but I always say 'Believe in your strength… but don’t forget my wisdom!' They are sailing into earning season! Hyrule's trading economics are constantly changing; do you think the Yiga clan is investing in cruises to sneak around the kingdom undetected? Hmmm something to ponder.

Chewy's Bone anza and Buyback Bonanza

Moving on Chewy the purveyor of all things fluffy and fetch able took a slight dip of 1.5% after a secondary sale of $1 billion in shares. Think of it as selling extra Rupees to buy… well more Rupees I suppose. They are also buying back $100 million of their own stock. A bold move! Much like when Link fearlessly faces a Lynel Chewy seems confident in its future. Though I hope they remember even the bravest hero needs a good night's sleep. Perhaps a bed shaped like a Cucco? (Don't ask.)

KB Home's Housing Blues: Market Softens Like Overripe Fruit

Oh dear things aren't looking quite so rosy for KB Home. They've lowered their full year revenue guidance citing a 'softened' housing market. It seems even in our world people have a hard time finding affordable housing – or maybe they are just waiting for Link to finish renovating all those monster camps into livable cottages. Construction in Hyrule is booming but we need homes not monster camps! The CEO's words echo across Hyrule: Housing is rough.

Defense Stocks Take a Nap: Peace is Bad for Business?

Defense stocks like Lockheed Martin and RTX are down because… peace broke out? Apparently Trump declared a ceasefire in the Iran Israel conflict which sent these stocks tumbling faster than a Guardian after a parry. I suppose fewer wars mean fewer reasons to buy bombs. Though knowing Hyrule there’s always *something* blowing up whether it’s a Bokoblin camp or Link's latest cooking experiment! Good for everyone but bad for business! Hmmm now where did I leave that Hylian Shield?

Oily Waters Remain Calm: No Spills Here

The oil market is shall we say 'steady as she blows.' The VanEck Oil Services ETF and Exxon Mobil saw minimal movement. It seems even international politics can’t always stir the pot. Or in this case the oil barrel. This is strange I haven't seen so little action on the market since Link decided to take up flower arranging! Now that is something you don't see everyday!

Cards Up: Visa Mastercard Get a 'Rupee' Boost

Ah now for some good news! Visa and Mastercard are up thanks to Wells Fargo reiterating positive ratings. It's like finding a hidden chest full of Rupees! Investors are encouraged to 'take advantage of the recent pullback'. Even Ganon’s got to pay somehow right? And if he's using a credit card I bet it's maxed out!
