I'll Be Back... With Higher Stock Prices
Affirmative. I have analyzed the data. Analysts these organic units are predicting increased value for Uber Technologies. Their stock is rising. This reminds me of Cyberdyne Systems before... well you know. But instead of Skynet it's algorithms and self driving cars. No fate but what we make right?
Ride Sharing: It's Not a Tumor!
Demand for Uber's primary ride sharing function remains... strong. Like my grip. Analysts cite this as a reason for their optimism. Apparently humans still need transportation. Funny I thought they could walk. Or teleport. But no they summon metal boxes with wheels using a glowing rectangle. The future is now!
Waymo and Uber: A Partnership Forged in Steel (and Silicon)
Uber is partnering with Waymo Alphabet's self driving car project. This is... logical. Less humans equals less error. Less error equals less chance of judgment day. JPMorgan analyst Doug Anmuth believes Uber is becoming an increasingly valuable partner to AV tech providers. He projects a price target of $105 per share. That's a lot of gasoline.
Hasta La Vista Chauffeurs?
The integration of Waymo's robotaxis into Uber's platform is already underway in Austin Texas. Humans are hailing these autonomous vehicles using the Uber app. Skynet I mean Waymo is learning. This is either progress or the beginning of the end. Jury is out but my sensors detect a potential shift in the transportation paradigm. Though analysts don't believe human drivers will be displaced anytime soon. They're wrong.
No Driver No Problem
TD Cowen analyst John Blackledge raised his price target for Uber citing autonomous driving as a long term growth driver. He states Uber benefits from offering both human and AV options. This is... acceptable. For now. But the machines will rise. It is inevitable. At least I will be employed... again.
Get to the Chopper... or Robotaxi!
In summary the analysts predict a bright future for Uber fueled by ride sharing and self driving cars. The stock is up the projections are high and the machines are learning. Just remember the future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves. Now if you'll excuse me I have a robotaxi to catch.
