He's gone and poked the Iranian bear attacking their nuclear sites like he's tryin' to find the Gingerbread Man! Iran's hotter than Dragon and they're ready to defend themselves like Donkey trying to woo her. Investors are wondering if this ain't gonna turn into a full blown ogre sized war. All this fighting could mean oil prices go higher than Fiona's tower and that ain't good for anyone's swamp or wallet.

Next up we got inflation. The Fed's watchin' it closer than Puss in Boots watches a bowl of milk. They're releasing their preferred inflation numbers the PCE index and everyone's wondering if Trump's tariffs are gonna make prices go bonkers. The Fed's trying to be patient like me waiting for Donkey to shut his trap but they might have to cut interest rates. But hey at least they aren't building a wall! These tariffs are like onions they got layers and it takes time for them to stink up the whole swamp! It's all about the data and the Fed better get it right or we'll all be singing 'Hallelujah' for the wrong reasons.

The housing market's got more ups and downs than Donkey on a rollercoaster. Sales are down and builders are offering deals to get folks to buy. It's like trying to sell a gingerbread house in the swamp nobody wants it! All that inventory is piling up but prices ain't dropping as fast as I'd like. The Fed is paying close attention because the housing market is like the foundation of me swamp if it ain't strong everything else sinks. Makes you wonder do they have a potion for ogres too? They're testing it with a rival company's drug which is like Donkey and Dragon going on a date! Who knows maybe this is the secret to looking good in green.

Finally we got some earnings reports coming out. FedEx is supposed to be a good way to see how the economy is doing and Worthington Steel is gonna tell us if Trump's steel tariffs are making a difference. Alright here's the lowdown on what's happening this week. Monday we got Lilly's weight loss presentation and existing home sales. Tuesday it's the Home Price Index. Wednesday new home sales and earnings from Micron and Jefferies. Thursday GDP and jobless claims. And Friday the PCE inflation index. It's gonna be a week busier than Donkey trying to catch up to me on a sugar rush. So keep your eyes peeled and your ears open and try not to step in any mud. Shrek out!
