Donkey's Got the Jitters!

Alright alright settle down! I hear ya'll are frettin' 'bout them stocks takin' a tumble. Seems this whole Iran Israel kerfuffle has got folks sweatin' more than Donkey in a dragon's den. The Dow's down Nasdaq's feelin' a bit green 'round the gills and the S&P? Well let's just say it ain't havin' a fairytale day. But hold your horses or should I say hold your swamp gas! Don't go losin' your heads like that French guard at the castle.

Oil's Up? Somebody Check on Lord Farquaad!

Now oil prices are jumpin' higher than me tryin' to catch a fly with my tongue! And gold? Gold's shinin' brighter than Fiona's tiara. Folks are lookin' for a safe place to stash their doubloons and honestly I can't blame 'em. The VIX that 'fear gauge' thingamajig is tickin' up but it ain't quite reached 'full on panic' mode yet. We're talkin' ogre sized inconvenience not dragon breathin' disaster.

Look I've seen worse than this. Remember when Lord Farquaad tried to evict me from my swamp? Now THAT was a crisis! This? This is just a mild case of swamp fever. The important thing is don't go makin' any rash decisions faster than Donkey can eat a waffle. Knee jerk reactions are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

Could This Be Ogre Soon?

Maybe this whole shebang will be over by Monday. Maybe Iran will decide they've had enough rock throwin'. Who knows? But even if it ain't remember what I always say: 'Better out than in!' Just kidding! I mean don't go assumin' everything's gonna be sunshine and rainbows. Smart investors gotta think about protecting their backsides just like I gotta protect my swamp from annoying fairytale creatures.

So what do we do? The hardest thing of all: practically nothin'. Relax put your feet up and watch your valuables be okay in the long run. I know I know it's tougher than tryin' to get Donkey to stop talkin'. But sometimes the best move is to just sit tight and see how things play out. We gotta remember that we are investin' for the long term like me and Fiona's marriage. A long term goal.
