Pinterest's Phat Profits! Even an Ogre Can See the Green

What in Tarnation is Pinterest Doing Right?

Well howdy there folks! Shrek here reporting live from me swamp where the news is usually about mudslides and which critter stole my turnip. But today somethin' shiny caught me eye: Pinterest! Seems this picture pinning contraption is doin' better than expected. They raked in $855 million which is more than those fancy Wall Street fellas thought they would. I'm no Donkey when it comes to money but even I know that's a lot of shrekels! Remember ogres are always hungry especially for good news. Like onion layers of it!

Earnings per Share? Sounds Like a Fairytale!

Now they missed the mark a tad on earnings per share but who's countin' pennies when you're makin' millions? These fellas are! They were hopin' for 26 cents a share but only got 23. Doesn't matter. They are still rolling in it. Kinda like when Donkey finds a gold tooth in the forest. A find is a find! I'd still take that over a plate of Farquaad's finest cuisine.

Second Quarter Sales? Keep Dreaming!

Hold yer horses! Pinterest is lookin' at makin' between $960 million and $980 million in the next quarter. Color me impressed! Even better than those city slicker analysts predicted. This is a recipe for success! All they need now is to hire the Gingerbread Man to boost the sales. He has the sugar rush to win.

Users Users Everywhere!

They got 570 million monthly users! That's more people than there are pitchfork wielding villagers in all of Duloc! These folks are pin happy. They can't get enough of lookin' at pictures of what nots and thingamajigs. I still don't get it. Is that why Donkey spends hours staring at himself in the pond? I need answers!

Tariffs and Troubles? Pshaw!

Now there's some yappin' about trade disputes and tariffs somethin' about Asia and e commerce whatchamacallits. But the head honcho at Pinterest Bill Ready he says they've turned the whole shebang around. Says they're makin' Pinterest a place where Gen Z goes to shop. I guess those youngsters are tired of hangin' around outside my swamp all day. They found a new place. Good for them.

The Big Picture: It's Not Ogre It's Just Begun!

So there you have it. Pinterest is doin' alright despite all the doom and gloom from the other tech giants. They're like that little engine that could chuggin' along and makin' a pile of gold along the way. Remember even an ogre can appreciate a good success story especially when it means maybe just maybe they'll start pinin' pictures of my swamp. It’s all ogre now! Haha!
